Terms of service
These terms are for WOPA early access. They are a practical baseline and may be updated before paid launch.
Who we are
WOPA is operated by WOPA LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17242400), registered office: 11 Raglan Close, Hounslow, United Kingdom, TW4 5EF. You can contact us at admin@mywopa.com. In these terms, "WOPA", "we", and "us" mean WOPA LTD.
What WOPA does
WOPA helps UK tradespeople draft invoices from chat, generate PDF invoices, email customers, schedule reminders, view outstanding invoices, and mark invoices paid.
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for checking invoice accuracy before sending.
- You are responsible for tax, VAT, accounting, and legal decisions.
- You must have permission to provide customer contact details and invoice information to WOPA.
- You must keep your own business, bank, and customer details accurate.
Beta limitations
WOPA is in early access. Features may change, pause, fail, or be withdrawn. WOPA is not accounting software, bookkeeping software, a bank, a payment processor, or a debt collection service. WOPA does not guarantee that an invoice will be paid.
Acceptable use
Do not use WOPA to send unlawful, misleading, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or spammy messages. Do not use WOPA for invoices or payment demands that you know are inaccurate or disputed without making that clear.
Late-payment and tax information
Any information WOPA provides about late payment, VAT, tax, invoices, or customer follow-up — and any invoice, VAT calculation, or figure the service generates — is general information and automation only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or debt-collection advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified accountant. You are responsible for verifying that your invoices and VAT treatment are correct for your circumstances.
Suspension
WOPA may suspend or restrict access where needed to protect the service, prevent abuse, comply with law, or investigate misuse.
Pricing, billing and cancellation
WOPA is offered on a monthly subscription. Founder pricing is £9.99 per month for the first 200 sign-ups and stays locked at that rate for as long as your subscription remains active without interruption; the standard price is £14.99 per month thereafter. Prices include VAT where applicable.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month — you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months once a billing period has started, except where required by law.
If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. Because the service is supplied digitally and you can begin using it immediately, by subscribing you agree we may begin providing it during that period; if you cancel within 14 days before the service has been fully provided, you may be charged for what you have used. Nothing in these terms affects your non-waivable statutory rights.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, WOPA is not responsible for lost profits, unpaid invoices, incorrect invoice contents approved by you, customer disputes, tax treatment, or indirect losses arising from use of the service. WOPA generates documents from the information you provide and you remain responsible for their accuracy and for your own tax and VAT obligations; we do not warrant that any invoice, VAT treatment, or figure produced by the service is correct or compliant for your circumstances. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.
